Our Story

The school began its journey in 1987, addressing a long-felt need of the people of Mansehra for a quality educational institution. At that time, no school offering education of the standard of a Public School existed in the city. Many parents were compelled to send their children to institutions outside the district—particularly to Abbottabad—causing significant financial and personal hardships.

A tragic road accident involving a van carrying students from Mansehra to Abbottabad, in which lives were lost and many were injured, became a turning point. Among the students in that van were the children of Mr. Shahjehan Khan Swati. This incident strengthened the resolve to provide quality education at the doorstep of Mansehra’s children, so they would not have to travel long distances for better schooling.

Responding to this need, Mr. Shahjehan Khan Swati took the initiative to establish the institution.

  • The foundation stone of the school was laid by Mr. Ejaz Rahim, then Commissioner of Hazara Division, in September 1986.

  • The school was inaugurated on 11th March 1987 by Mr. Fida Muhammad Khan, then Governor of N.W.F.P.

Initially launched as a primary school, the institution gradually expanded to secondary and then higher secondary level, offering a strong academic program enriched with co-curricular activities.
